Michael Kors opinions please michael kors bag

I have this bag on hold...its a Kors collection bag, more than twice the price of the Michael by Michael Kors bags but nice and soft. And it's on sale. What do you think? Does it look current? Worth $500-plus? Thanks

Well, I have nearly the exact same bag (the MICHAEL Michael Kors one) and I love it. It's $398 retail, and I'm not sure whether it comes in the color you want, but I know the size is just about identical. You ladies enabled me. I called the store and the bag is being shipped to me. I had seen this bag last week on sale at Nordies for $534 or so. I didn't get it and someone else bought it. Naturally I regretted it once I learned I couldn't have it. So I happened to be passing the Michael Kors store in the mall yesterday. They had the bag on sale in gold. I talked to the SA and he said he also had it in the luggage color. He went in the back and found out he didn't have it but it would also be on sale. I asked him to find out if other stores had it. He found one in Vegas and the price came out to be a bit under $500 including tax and shipping.
I'm not exactly sure now what I'm getting. I hope the hardware will be silver color like the one in the photo. They told me the difference between the Michael by Michael Kors and the collection in addition to being handmade and the leather being softer, the hardware is more durable. And the color is a bit different. He said the color would be like the traditional luggage whereas the Michael bag was a bit more tan. Having seen the more expensive one and how soft it was, I had to have that one (if any). So this will be my Bush tax refund purchase. Hope I love it. I really wasn't looking for a bag. And I hate waiting for things to be shipped. Thanks for the encouragement ladies!

I have felt a few Kors bags and the leather appears to be very good quality. Worksmanship upon my quick glance looks to be well done as well. I really like this style and hope you like it when it arrives. Post pics!

All I can say is that I ADORE anything Michael Kors!! I have probably 10 or more of his bags and they are my fave! I wear a lot of his clothing too. I say snatch up anything of his!!!
