please help sway me one way or another. i will allow myself one bag from
the current sale and cant decide between the cooper shoulder bag (cadet) or parker -signature leather with rivets. my style is pretty casual, sneakers, jeans, leggings, tunic style tops. i want something smaller for spring but still able to hold wallet, sunglasses case, keys, gum. i am equally drawn to both of these bags and opinions would be greatly appreciated!

I vote Cooper shoulder bag. I have two of each (Parker & Cooper). I purchased the two Coopers during the sale & am very happy.
IMO, the Cooper is more versatile, dressy or casual depending on what you are wearing whereas I find I only go for my Parker on dressier occasions.
The back pocket of the Cooper is full length & forgiving. Interior is leather lined. The back pocket of the Parker may or may not hold your phone & is a tight fit regardless. Interior is faux suede.
I could probably fit more in the Parker but only slightly given the multiple dividers.
Finally, since the strap on the Cooper is detachable, you can use novelty straps to add flair (for example, I purchased the ombre strap to go with both my beechwood & sage Coopers).
Both are great but given I too am more casual, lean more towards Cooper.
Good luck deciding! Let us know what you do!

I have a cooper shoulder and love it!! parkers are really nice i dont own one but i like the differnt length options for the strap with the cooper better personally. Suggest if you can go try one on.

I don't own a Parker, but I am absolutely smitten with my Cooper Shoulder!

- Leather lining wins over microfiber any day!
- Large compartment fits a long wallet easily, along with other items
- Minimalist and clean aesthetics
- As others have mentioned, adjustable and removable strap
