My mother does not like automatic watches. My father wants to get her an anniversary present and thought maybe a gold Rolex, but the only quartz seems to be the Cellini - is this right, and does anyone have opinion on the Cellini - is it as classic or is it a lesser watch? What does anyone think? Thank you!

They are pretty, but Rolex is not the brand to buy if you want a quartz watch. The brand's reputation is based on their durable automatic movements. In case you care about long-term value, Cellini watches do the worst in resale value of all Rolexes.
Cellini are part of the Rolex line, so in that sense they're classic, but they aren't what people think of or particularly want if they're interested in Rolex.
