I like the idea of having 2 bags in one and the absence of vacchetta in the black and brown ones. One side is leather and the other is vacchetta. Has anyone touched them? Are they too slouchy? I own the classic monogram MM, which is quite stiff and my idea is selling it to buy the reversible one...is it a good or bad idea in your opinion?

Funny, years ago when the Neverfulls were 1st introduced (canvas), they were touted that you could turn it "inside out" to be carried with the zipper on the outside. It didn't catch on as a trend, since the interiors were canvas and easily soiled. It's amazing how these are now new releases...and pricey ones at that.

I was in store yesterday. Didnt find the bag I was looking for, but they had the new NFs on display. Of course I had to look at the leather version inside out in tan brown
First, the pouch is beautiful, it is slightly larger than the normal pouch of the NF MM. The inside lining is monogram canvas.

The leather feels luxurious and smooth, not so „rough and plasticy“ like empreinte. The tan color is stunning in real life!
For a short moment I was thinking about buying it spontaneous, but then made up my mind again
There are a few cons (for me):
1. It is a totally open hole. On the normal NFs at least you have the carabine closure and you can fold over the inside zip pocket over your things.
2. On such an expensive bag I want feet. I know because of inside out they would not work designwise, but I would only carry it leather outside and would want protection for this beautiful material!
3. When wearing it leather outside you can cinch the sides with two little carabines. Looks super nice, BUT then it nearly looks like my Neonoes (and I already own two of them lol….)
4. When wearing the leather outside, I think it‘s gonna be fussy with the side strings hanging inside
5. Last but not least the price is quite hefty for just an open hole tote, though the details are sophisticated!

I'm so pleased to hear that you found the leather luxurious and smooth and that you also liked the details. I think your first three cons more or less to all Neverfulls (... I never use the interior pocket of my classic NF and never close the carabine and I prefer to store things into SLGs that I attach to the interior ring. ). Feet would be useful in a leather bag but, as you said, would not work in such a model. However I agree with your last con... it's probably too expensive for what you get.... I would also add two cons that I fear: 1. After you turn her upside down several times, does the leather start creasing? 2. Is she too slouchy and does it sag when you wear her?

I saw the canvas version yesterday. They had it on display in store available for preorder. I should preface this by saying I don't like the concept. Wearing the "inside" out is just odd to me, but again that's just my opinion. Some people might love the idea. I was curious to see if the fabric was treated or coated to protect it. It isn't coated and I don't know if it's treated. As you would expect, the canvas is much thinner than the regular canvas. The CA I was speaking with agreed and said that it's in order to make the bag easier to turn inside out. I already think LV canvas has gotten thinner and cheaper over the years. I would worry about the thin canvas being easier to damage. It is closer to the Goyard St. Louis. I purchased one of those preloved off a recognized resale site. To me, it felt cheap and thin (no offense intended if you love those) and I returned it. I got the same feeling from this new version Neverfull. Having said that, I am a lover of all things blue, so when the blue one comes out, I might have to reconsider ;).

agreed!!! I always remembered the standard NF as "reversible", which I've only seen Minks4All do. These new inside out NFs just seem redundant to me. And is the strap really necessary?

It's ironic that the strap is appealing feature to me. Heavy coats make it nearly impossible to wear over shoulder unless it has a strap. To each his own lol!
