I been wanting to buy a michael kors watch for a while but never really looked into different options and I decided to take the plunge when I found this baby for 50% off. This is my first watch and I really do love the style, the crystals / the chronograph / the pyramid studs and etc. However, does it look a bit too much? I'm merely legal to drink :p. My boyfriend said there's too much gold and it's a bit too loud for me... but but i love gold, if my accessories ever have to have some sort of metal or chain on it, it HAS to be gold!

I don't have the watch yet however, I'm a bit paranoid that I made the decision a bit too fast because of the good deal.

What do you guys think? all opinions are greatly appreciated, thanks :)

Boys don't know anything! I love my Micheal Kors watch. I have a white band with an oversized gold and crystal chrono face. I totally want an all gold oversized one but I am looking for a good deal.

I like it! Love the bling and the gold. It's very instyle.

heh, thanks your input! i'm a bit more relieved

I'm not sure but this watch is 39mm, is that considered over sized? it is on the big side though. I'm very glad i got this deal, the watch was originally $295 and I brought it for $147.50 NO TAX but had to throw in 13 dollars for shipping which is like tax money.

That's a good deal. I got mine from Last Call for $119 and it's around 43mm. I think 39mm is considered oversized. I want the runway watch in 45mm. I can't seem to find one for less than $180 though so I will keep looking.

I think the watch is gorgeous. It isn't too blingy or OTT, IMO, and I love the gold. I have a gold MK watch that looks fantastic combined with bracelets; I'd highly recommend it.

I love the watch, OP. It is very pretty, and you got a great deal. My DH was surprised when I wanted the MK Rose Gold, said it was oversized, but once I got it, he really likes how it looks on my wrist.

I also pair it with a few tri color gold bracelets, and it looks really good. Enjoy your watch when it arrives. I bet you BF will change his mind when you start wearing it.

I have had three MK watches...two were way too big for my chopstick wrist (LOL) but the other one I love. I have tried the pink plastic one, and a rose gold one with crystals on the bezel and part of the bracelet. The faces just looked out of place on me.

MK5403 in Rose gold is the one I kept...it's perfect. Perfect size, perfect color, everything. I have that one and a Wittnauer in silver, so I feel my watch collection is complete. :D
Well, except for maybe a tortie one with the brown face...I do drool over it every once in a while. LOL!

I love it! I don't think it is OTT at all. I love big chunky watches, and I see a lot of celebs wearing big gold watches. MK makes some really attractive watches.

Boys really don't know anything, LOL! One of my guy friends walked by a bunch of MK watches at Nordstroms and said they looked like men's watches but I told him that's the style now! I love my MK watch and the one you chose is beautiful! Wear it proudly!

I need an opinion- is the MK runway double glitz in gold too blingy for everyday? Or maybe rose gold would be a better every day in the same version? Thank you for your opinion!

I have the double glitz in silver but i would never wear it for everyday. Ihave the regular oversized in gold and i dont mind it for everyday. I feel like the double glitz is for special occasion. This was the advice i got from the associate at my mk store. I suggest you try it in the store. It took me a month to decide on that one.
