I’ve been trying to find others who have this bracelet to see how it looks when worn/how they style it, but I never see it on IG or anywhere else no matter how hard I search. Is it not very popular? I see the guilloche/diamond 5 motif much more, but I hesitate with how the guilloche motifs scratch. Is the diamond 5-motif arguably not worth it for the price? Is it too flashy for daily wear even if worn by itself? Please let me know your thoughts! And if anyone happens to have this bracelet, I’d love to see and know what you think of it!

I would love this information too :) I have considered this beautiful bracelet before, but I am concerned that the flipping of the motifs would bug me, I feel like I would always be flipping them over to diamond side-up as I like wearing my bracelets loose.

I saw it in real life at the store and it’s underwhelming…especially at that price. Somehow the diamonds are just blah…guilloche actually shines more.

I’ve tried it and it’s beautiful, stunning and of course comfortable to wear. But the flipping bothers me. It may not bother everyone though. There are other pieces I would choose first but if budget was no issue absolutely. I would wear it alone most of the time. No styling needed. It goes with everything.

You know what maybe would be cool?
If VCA designed it putting an onyx motif in the back so we would not mind it flipping :P :hugs: We my encourage it to flip!

If you're concerned about the motif flipping, I'd say try adjusting the bracelet to a more snug fit can really help. I have my 5 motif's adjusted to the 15 cm which is more snug on my wrist and the motifs rarely flip. However, my sweet 6 motif is adjusted to 15.5 cm and even though it's only 0.5 cm difference, the 6 motif flips quite often.

I have the all-diamond bracelet. It flips. It’s unavoidable. But I chose it because diamonds are low-maintenance. Also, it’s very comfortable, since it’s a chain bracelet. I could never see myself getting the bracelet with MOP or malachite, even though I think they’re lovely, just because I don’t like babying my jewelry.

I like the alternating diamond bracelets, also. But knowing myself, I prefer a bit more consistency with the design, which is why I went with all diamond version. And also again because the stone motifs are still much more delicate compared to diamonds.

For most people, I would say to get the clover bangle. It’s the same price. It’s quite substantial. And it doesn’t have a flipping problem. That sentiment is probably shared by most users on this site.

One of the things that bothers me with the all-diamond is that when I’m wearing my bracelet, I often find myself playing with it to make sure all the motifs are facing the right way. If I notice an upside-down motif, I can’t help but fix it. It bothers me that the bracelet seems to feed into my neuroticism.

Also, even though the diamonds in the bracelet are bigger than the ones in the clover bangle, the flipping of the motifs means that the bracelet’s diamonds get dirty quite quickly. I still think the all-diamond bracelet is the best iteration of the Alhambra bracelets. But it’s another thing that makes it a bit less attractive than the bangle.

But honestly, for me, I’ve never been bothered by dirty diamonds. The flipping bothers me more. But only because I can’t help myself from checking up on it and playing with the motifs.

The Dior rose des vents collection happens to be dual-sided. One side featuring a diamond, and the other side featuring a stone slab. It also looks very cohesive with Alhambra.

And it also does happen to be quite a bit thicker than Alhambra. But you could also describe it as 3D, since the motifs curve outwards.

The only drawback with the onyx back (or any other gemstones) is that they will block out the light from passing through the diamonds, so while this can resolve the flipping issue, it really kills the fire from the stones are cut exceptionally for this particular purpose. If I'm spending that much on a diamond piece, I'd want them to sparkle as much as they can. But that's just me and it all comes down to personal preference ;)
