Opinions on the current trend of upcycled embellished LV bags

Good day everyone!
I have been seeing a ton of companies that upcycle Louis Vuitton (mostly) bags with leather fringe and braiding for a "boho" look.
Some companies I have found:
Vintage Boho Bags
Leather And Vodka
The Southern Gypsy Bags
Outwest Custom Bags
Rustic Revival Bags
Apparently they can also customize a bag that you already own as well.
What are everyone's thoughts on these?
Would love to hear some feedback.

I wouldn't trust that the canvas is authentically LV, in fact I'm sure not in many of these cases. So there's that. As to the aesthetics, I see the appeal (sometimes), though the market demand for a mashup of "LV" (whether real or not) and cowgirl style is vague to me.

I've seen the Vintage Boho ones on IG since they seem to work with a lot of influencers, I think they are cute but expensive for what they are and I wouldn't trust their authenticity.

I love upcycled vintage LV when it’s painted or the canvas is sewn into a new pattern, but not a fan of turning them boho with fringes, tassels, etc. The “cowgirl” look just doesn’t seem to jive well with the LV canvas imho. Much prefer customization such as this:

Thank you everyone for your thoughts! I agree about the authenticity and wonder how that can be done after being altered.

If it’s your style, and would encourage you to use a bag that is languishing in the back of your closet, why not

I don't mean to offend anyone.....but boho and fringe and braiding, etc is definitely not my style at all. Like other person said, i wouldn't trust the authenticity either.

See the first post, with named companies that I assume have websites. I won't post pics here because the authenticity of the canvas used is questionable, and posting fakes isn't permitted. Alternately you can google "upcycled LV" and find things that way.

I won't say from which company, but I purchased a baseball cap with the LV patch in the center. The quality of the baseball cap was a rip off and the canvas patch felt fake. I compared it to my LV Speedy 35 mono. I thought it was very expensive and the product was a disappointment to say the least. Just thought I would warn others out there.
