I bought a champagne coloured Gucci bamboo bag and then returned it. I thought the colur was difficult (for me) to work with. I`m pale with blond curly hair and I would imagine it looks better on a dark haired gal. But that was just my experience.
I think it depends on your wardrobe and how many bags you have already. It`s great as an extra imo but I wouldn`t want it as my main. I dont have many bags so am more conservative.

Also, I`m in my 40`s. I think this is a young(ish) looking bag.

It is definitely funky but when in doubt dont.

I wanted this bag too.. I already have the same bag in the bordeaux. (and the material is awesome!) But I ended up with the navy web boston with the metallic gold webbing because that champagne Boston was just a little too bold for me. But it is a stunning bag and will definitely command a lot of attention...:D

The material is probably the biggest dilemma I have... what do you like about the material? does it last?

The navy sounds gorgeous!

Great advice

Apart from, I always get dizzy spell and cold feet when spending money, if I din't feel torn before buying something I'd never buy anything ever :D.

I think it could either go with a strict minimalist or a maximalist casual wardrobe and not much in between. Then again I think Champagne and silver bags are neutrals.

My friend bought the champagne joy tote last july and I kid you not It's Gorgeous with the capital G ;) No plastic nor flashy looking IMO well, maybe I just love the champagne color LOL

Paper Tiger I agree about the cold feet feeling when buying etc, especially when it`s an expensive item.

That`s why I`m loving forums like this where you can get some opinions and feedback.

To Miss K, cant wait to know what you decide.

I had the same reservations about the fabric.. I have always purchased their leather bags and I have a coated canvas boston and an imprime boston. I've had the navy for about a year and it still looks as good as the day I got it... I rotate bags frequently though and am careful with the outfits I choose to wear with the canvas so I avoid color transfer but the few times it got anything on it I was able to just wipe it off with no problem. I think they do a good job with their fabric treatment to help it stay nice...hope that helps :smile1:
