Opinions on FW 09 Black

I just bought a city from NM - pulled out of the stockroom - seems nice but I would like others' opinions on the leather and colour if you have seen it IRL - I don't have a lot of experience with Bal leathers and colours as I only own a ruby first as well.

I just bought a black city from F/W 09, the leather is not as soft as I imagined, and heavier than regular city, I don't know why.

i have a AW09 gch black. the leather is smooshy on some parts (back and sides) and stiffer on other parts. the thing i don't like is that it has a green cast to it. else, the leather looks like it will get smooshier the longer i use it. it is definitely heavier than the rh, but lighter than the sgh and ggh.
