This is a photo exactly like, one of the small older Rolex's that I have had for many years. They all live in the vault, because I feel they look like old lady watches. The face is 26mm.

I want to bring this one into 2011:smile1:

What do you think, if I remove the gold bracelet and replace it with a custom made (black) double strap, like the Hermes double wrap strap.

I wanted to wear it with my black and gold, Hermes Revale bracelet.

I would love opinions -ideas -please and thank you!

I think your watch is beautiful just as it is and you can still accessorize it however you want to "update" the look by pairing it with different bracelets but I think a classic like this never goes out of style! :smile1:

Oh please don't change your watch inwould love an all gold rolex but only have a SS, your watch is gorgeous & I would wear it with a couple of yg thin bracelets & I agree a Rolex never goes out of fashion.

This really is a classic. I also would not change it. I have the same feeling about a few of my older rolex's. I have changed to diamond bezels, or changed the face to another color. However, stay true to the Rolex. They just will never go out of style.

Don't change it! You can always layer it with more modern pieces for a younger look. With an Hermes Rivale, it would look great.

Elle Macpherson layers beaded cord bracelets with her classic gold Rolex for an eclectic, bohemian look.

its bueatiful! and like everyone here said, a classic! please dont change it

ETA: just read your decision and its most definately a great one ;)
wear it in good health :D
