Hi everyone,

So I always loved the Roadster and then when I put it on- I was just disappointed in how it looked on me :( BUT I feel in love with the medium Cartier Ballon Bleu. I want to know what you all think of it on me. My wrists are small so I wanted to make sure it was not overwhelming. It would help to see it with links taken out but oh well!

I think it looks real nice. I am in the same position as far as picking out a Cartier, but I was steering away from the Ballon Bleu because I am thinking of getting away from a round face and am looking at the Roadster and the Tank. I really like the Tank but can't tell if the ladies size or mid-size is the way to go.

I am also considering the Roadster. Why didn't you like it on you? Was it too big? Also, have you tried the Tank? I don't have a store anywhere near me that sells Cartier so I am not able to go shopping. Good luck and keep us posted!

I think it looks great on you. My SA at Le Tourneau told me the trick to seeing if a watch is too big on you: if you can still see the strap below and above the case, then it isn't too big. I also have smaller wrists but I wouldn't hesitate to get the medium ballon bleu. It'll be my next watch!

Honestly-it's strange because I have loved the roadster for years and when I finally tried it on, it just did not wow me at all! I have a Michele watch with a very similar shaped face so maybe I just need a change. I definitely don't think it's too big. As for the tank, it's too delicate for me and I want a round face.

I would definitely recommend trying on before buying-you may be surprised. I was!

I was torn between the small and medium YG ballon bleu. I have tiny wrists and the small looked best on me - no matter how hard I tried to like the medium better! I love my watch and think the medium looks amazing!

I really like the medium Ballon Bleu on your wrists. If it were any bigger, I would say it is too big for you. But it makes a statement without being overwhelming on your frame. This is the watch that is on my wish list too! I liked the Roadster at first too, but it felt to clunky on my wrist, and I knew that it would bother me over time.

I think it looks like a really good size on you. It looks a lot like how my Rolex Midsize looks on me, not small, but not too large either (I have very small wrists) What MM size is the medium?

Thank you for all your opinions! I just want to make sure its a piece that looks classic vs trendy. Its a big investment for me and will have to last a long time lol. It 36 mm- When I tried the small one in, it, like roadster did not WOW me- I think I am just used to bigger watches so going to a small one feels weird.

I also think I will like it better with the links out- its so hard to tell when the watch is not sized!

If you want a watch that lasts forever, you have to think about how it'll look like on your wrist say 10 years later. Personally, I think 36mm is just trendy.
