Hi, my hubby is interested in getting the Graphite Keepall 45 as a weekend bag. He plans to throw his dSLR and some of our baby stuff like bottles into it. However, when we tried it at the store, it felt kind of heavy, even empty.

Has anyone carried it for long on the shoulder? Do you find it bulky, flimsy or heavy? Anyone has dislikes for it?

Thanks!

I would also get the 55. I use my Mono 55 with a strap for weekends or as a carry-on on a plane. Although it's a little bulky, it's ideal as everything fits in without being too stuffed. I have a Damier 45, which I use as a sportsbag and even for that purpose, it's sometimes a little too small.

im consittering the same bag for the same reasons pretty much .. im basicley going to use it as a travel bag of things i need next to me ((not packed in the trunk)) ..or mayby on an air plane for me ,baby, and hubbys nescessitys . Please let me know wether u decide to or not to get it .

I have the 55 and it does get heavy, but at least I know the bag is really well made and won't break (these bags are STRONG!) As far as the 45 goes, I always recommending getting at least the 55 because you'll find that the smaller bags aren't big enough!

I use it maybe 3 times a week and I stuff it, trust me. My life is in it! Im 5'9 and have no complains to make. The only thing is its losing a bit of its shape if you wear it on your shoulders but not messenger style. Besides that, its not too heavy.

After quite a bit of consideration, my DH finally decided to get the Keepall 45. He used it over the weekend and carried all the baby stuff (clothes, towels, multiple bottles, etc) plus his dSLR with external flash.

He finds the size quite alright and the strap was more comfortable than it looks. We'll definitely be bringing it out more often and on longer trips to test it out further.

Here's the pic, enjoy!
