Hello. Looking for some opinions on tote bags. I've been looking to add a boxy tote or book tote ( don't know what they are called)
I've been eyeing the OTG for some time now. I've also been eyeing the Dior Book Tote as well as the Fendi Sunshine tote. Looking for some opinions before I get this bag. I know its a trend now but would like a medium sized tote that i can incorporate for the years to come as a work bag or perhaps weekend travelling bag. Your thoughts on the 3 I mentioned are much appreciated.

1. Fendi Sunshine Tote
2. LV On The Go
3. Dior Book Tote

I’ve owned all three lol… depends on what you need it for. The Fendi has a blank side so it can be used without the logo showing. I also like that it has a long crossbody strap. The OTG is bold in canvas but it’s a sturdy bag that can take anything. The Dior is recognizable but less loud than the LV; I don’t like being limited to only the handheld straps and the canvas material gets beat up pretty quickly.

Perhaps I should have mentioned that as well. I think all 3 are loud as "look i'm a ......" and I'm looking for the least of that. The Fendi brown is a beautiful color and yes i like the strap on it the OTG as much as I love it, i see it everywhere. Dior, I see at least 3 of them on each flight I'm always on as well.

Probably depends which one. I like the fendi the least. And the Dior (my favorite is the all leather black one)

if you want something that you can wear for years, I’d pick something more classic like Goyard or moynat. they have somewhat more structured versions of a tote.

How do you like to carry your bag?
I couldn’t get the Dior because i wouldn’t want to be limited to hand held.
The LV has the additional shoulder straps which are a definite bonus.
I like that the Fendi has the shoulder/crossbody option for more flexibility as I have a bad back/shoulder.

A much lower priced option is the Coach Field Tote 40 which had the short handles and an optional strap. I have it and the quality is great. Really wanted the OTG but needed the longer strap.

I do like hand held but the option to carry with a strap. I like the fendi strap more because its thick as opposed to the OTG are slimmer.

How about chanel deauville? Not try to make the decision more difficult!

from the three mentioned I like Dior best, to me looks and feels more sophisticated for some reason. I rarely see them where I live, but I also don’t live in the fashion capital either! What I see on daily is NF.

I have a Deauville already for travel.
