Hi everyone, I was hoping to get some input! I am young, and trying to grow a beautiful jewelry collection that I can hold onto forever. I have some Aaron Basha and Pasquale Bruni pieces for certain occasions, but my everyday jewelry that I have purchased so far are as follows... a tennis bracelet, Rolex, and diamond/enamel Aaron Basha ladybug ring. I sold my diamond studs a while ago as they were too small. So, my question is... for my next piece (this would be my last piece for a while) should I get 2 CTW diamond studs or a Harry Winston Diamond Loop Necklace/ Forget Me Not Pendant in Pink Sapphire? Essentially, what is more "vital" to have now? Let me know what you ladies think
This is a very subjective question. So below is my subjective answer.
I wear a lot of earrings, but I hate simple studs, diamond or pearl, I have them but I don't touch them.
I know they are "versatile" and goes with everything, but what's the point if I don't wear them at all?
Personally, I'd rather spend <$500 to get Dior Tribal earrings, or Chanel pearl drop earrings. Get several pairs, much more presence and fun to wear for work or casual.
I know many may object and argue "value" for the diamond studs...
but I always think the sole purpose of jewellery is to please the wearer, not holding value. Otherwise we should all go and buy
pure gold bars instead. It holds value the best, and you don't pay any labor cost.
Back to your question, generic diamond studs or Harry Winston necklace.
I would go with anything Cartier, Van Cleef, Tiffany, Harry Winston, Graft.... an item shows some input of
design that make you feel happy and special when you are wearing it.
