What does everyone think about this tweed backpack from the 2023 release? It’s a great small/mini size and the chains are nice and thick. I especially like that the straps are not leather. I noticed that the vintage version of this exact style is selling for 20-30K!! Thoughts appreciated!

I love the style but for me it seems impractical. The tweed looks loose and all the friction from carrying it against your back would cause wear quickly, I’d think. But if you’re not worried about that then I’d go for it!

I tried this on in the boutique and the straps are very heavy. Seemed off especially with the light weight of the tweed. But if this wouldn’t bother you then you should check it out.

Super cute bag. I wonder if the staps might start to dig into your shoulders after awhile. But it is a small bag so if it is mostly for ornamental purposes it would make a really chic statement to your outfit.

I suspect it should actually be more comfortable than thinner straps. I have a tote from 2020 (forgot what it’s called, but it has thick chain straps) and it’s super comfortable. It’ll be fun to see this in person. So unique, and I love the tweed on the turn clasp too.
