Michael Kors Opinions and Expertise Needed(!) Mother's Day Gift

Hello! Today I made my first ever MK purchase as a gift for my early 30's sis-in-law who will be giving birth to my niece any day now. Got this "Jet Set" tote and wallet in Peony for $111 and $62 on clearance at Macy's. I don't know much about MK handbags, how often they go on sale, and what's considered a good deal, but I do know that sis-in-law likes the brand. Is this considered a nice MK bag/color and do you think I paid a good price? Would you be pleased if you received this as a gift? Thanks!!

You got a really good deal. I just bought the jet set signature tote, just like the one you bought just brown and tan and paid 198.00 and 78.00 for a wristlet which is way smaller than the wallet that you got at a cheaper price even!! Great gift!! Mine was actually my Mother's Day gift also.

Thanks for your input leasul and handbaghuntress! I was excited about the purchase, then started doubting the price and then the color because I have no clue about MK. I think the color is nice, but I'd be more concerned about the monogram. If she has other MK monogram bags, then I'd say she would be happy with the set. Seems like a low price point for MK.
