Hi all,

I'd like to get a monogram bracelet and would love your opinion on which you like best:

http://www.sarahchloe.com/shop/shop-by-category/bracelets/ella-adjustable-bangles.html (I'd probably get the gold-plated version as the one in 14k yellow gold is $1198, which seems a bit expensive for 14k?)

http://www.baublebar.com/engraved-monogram-bracelet.html (would get the 14k version)

http://www.baublebar.com/circle-script-monogram-bracelet.html (would get the 14k version)

https://www.etsy.com/listing/165907...d-designer-handcrafted?ref=shop_home_active_1 (I really like the design of this but the seller has a few mixed reviews which mention flimsy chains)

Or, if you have any other suggestions for monogram bracelets, I'd be very appreciative!

Thanks so much in advance for any opinions!

Looking close up at the Sarah Chloe one, the engraving bothers me... not well done in my opinion. So that would be off my list. I like the cuff style though. Definitely not worth the price in gold if it's hollow.

My choice wold be the Bauble Bar circle script. It's harder to see the initials but to me it's the prettiest... the etsy seller being second place- but the chain does look a little thin and I would worry the initial plate would bend.

I like number one the best, number two is also nice but with that type of bracelet I tend to stay away from because of the weight of the monogram/charm it will always end up turned over on the wrist unless of course you want to wear it very tight.

I like the monogram of the last one but I'm uncertain about the chain. I'm choosing it solely on the monogram style. I like the mono without the circle border. Do you have a local store you can order from? I think it's hard to choose monos from the internet. Have you received your T bracelet yet?

Thank you everyone for your very helpful replies! I also like the cuff style, and even more so now that Trulyadiva and Luksus reminded me that the monogram will turn over with a chain-style bracelet (thank you!).

I'm now undecided with what I'll do! I was leaning towards the Sarah Chloe one but am unsure based on what brae pointed out with the engraving.

MyDogTink, I actually decided not to get the medium-sized T bracelet after all. After thinking about it some more, I was uncomfortable with the idea that the bracelet would one day break given how expensive the bracelet is! Will you be getting the bracelet or anything else from the T collection? Thank you also for the tip about ordering from a local store. There are many jewelry stores nearby (both the big name stores as well as local jewelers), but to be honest, it seems a little overwhelming process-wise. I should try contacting a few stores to see what they say! I've never worked with a local jeweler so the process seems a bit intimidating.

I suggested using a local jeweler and going with their brand/style because that's what I did when I ordered a monogram necklace. I was at a local jeweler (not the local jeweler I customarily go to) and passed the showcase with the mono pieces. I was always on the fence about this style partly because I saw some styles that I liked while other styles I really didn't like. I happened to really like their style- size and mono style. I called my local, trusted jeweler but he only had catalogues for me to select from. No samples. I went back to the original store. While it broke my heart not to give the business to my jeweler, I just couldn't order from a catalogue. I had to go with something that I saw and touched. Even though you may be more comfortable ordering from the internet as opposed to working face to face with an actual brick and mortar store, remember that a customized piece ordered from a website is not going to be returnable. Especially with a bracelet, you may want to see the chain, see if the mono flips, etc. I don't mean to be overbearing with advice, I'm just telling about how my experience went. Good luck.

I got sidetracked and put other items ahead of the T bracelet on my wish list. One item is from my local jeweler which if it is gifted to me will constitute my Anniversary and Christmas gifts.

Thank you so much, MyDogTink, for taking the time to share your experience! While it seems a bit intimidating to work with a local jeweler on a custom piece, I completely understand as it seems much safer to do so being able to specify exactly what I'd like and to see what materials or styles are being used. I've compiled a list of well-rated local jewelers in my area who I can work with on this in the future. In the last few days, I got sidetracked by Chan Luu bracelets (late to the party on that one!) and ended up purchasing that as an early birthday present to myself. In the future, I hope to save up for a custom monogram bracelet. Thanks again for all your advice, and I hope you love your monogram necklace!!

Happy birthday! Enjoy your new bracelets. If the monogram bracelet is still in sight, you may want to visit those local jewelers as the holidays approach. SAs will be busy so you can casually peruse their samples of the mono pieces. I think some styles will immediately appeal or not appeal to you.
