Honest opinions from fellow jewellery lovers would be much appreciated!

I would like to get both the clash bracelet and the Panthere bracelet and am thinking of panic buying one before the price increase in April. I was thinking of the clash first as it’s more expensive but one came up in mint condition from a reputable jeweller in my size which would save me about 2K. This would allow me to get the Panthere before the price increase so I would probably save a bit further.

I would probably prefer to get both brand new in the long run. I am also worried should there be a problem with the bracelet eg the clasp on the Clash, Cartier would still repair it if it was second hand?

Thank you!

Personal preference is more important than incremental savings. Since this seems to matter a great deal to you, or enough to mention it,I would wait and save for both. With respect to your other concern, Ive taken my moms Cartier watches to be serviced, no problem, so I don’t see any issue with you not being the original owner. But, i don’t know for certain.

I generally have no issue with preloved items, namely H bags and vintage, one of a kind, jewelry, but with the 3D printing and CAD design and the proliferation of quality reproduction, I would hesitate to buy such popular models of VCA, Cartier, etc. from any but a licensed dealer or one that I know can trace provenance. JMO and YMMV

ETA : I do not believe in panic buying under any circumstance. That would include rushing a purchase to avoid a price increase. To me, if I feel that the time is not right to buy for any reason, I wait.
