Hi ladies - I saw this bag at the store and I really do love it. Actually the one I saw was the small version of this for $225 (I'm in Canada - higher prices are the norm - the larger one is $248 in the US).

I tried my stuff in it, and it's the perfect size for me, really small and cute. The gold chain glistens and is much smaller that the chain on the Hamilton - everything about this bag screams CUTE! I tried it cross body, shoulder and hand and it worked perfectly on me each way - it's like it was made for me.

Sadly I was hoping it would be made in red, the large one is available in red, but not the small one.

Do you guys like the color? For some reason I've never been a fan of this color, always thought it was old fashioned and boring. But MK has a way of taking things I always think that about and making me love them.

Anyway - what do you guys think of it?

I was going to post the red one for comparison, but since the small one will not be available in red, there is no point really. I tried the larger one and did not like it at all.

The small one is absolutely identical to the big one except it's smaller! The chain is exactly the same.

Oh yeah - and the leather is really gorgeous - I was actually surprised at how thick and soft it was - more like what you would see in his higher end pieces.

The only thing that is holding me back on that one is that I'm not sure if I want two of the same bag even if they are different colors. Having said that, I have doubled up with Coach plenty - two Maggies, two Haileys, two Zoe's.

I guess it's because I only have 3 MK bags so far, I think I'd rather get something I don't already have, kwim?

I guess because I have light blonde hair I was afraid it didn't work for me.

This bag is such a no brainer at $225 - that's pretty cheap around these parts. :p But if I bought it and for some bizarre reason it showed up in red in a month I would have to kill myself - or my SA.

I can feel that this is a real impulse buy because it's so cheap. I managed to walk away from it yesterday, and I know it will be around for a while, I should resist just in case it gets made in more colors. Right? Resist!!

I know exactly what you mean....I went through that with Coach, too....with Carly!!!! I had a Carly fettish going on and had it in every color at one point!!! LOL I do like the luggage color....alot....I have the same braided grommet as you do in luggage....though I only used it ONCE b/c I cant seem to switch out of my python for a second.....

I would wait to see what else is coming out in holiday collection. There's a lot of red in different styles.

Next time you go to the boutique, ask to see the holiday catalog. They just got it in on Friday (from what the SA told me on Saturday) and it has all the releases for the next two or three months. It also has the colors that will be released by style, price, dates, etc.

Oh, I like the luggage color...but not in this style.

I am so in love with the luggage color! I think that it looks better with blonde hair:) I have brown so maybe you just always think that it looks better on another person? It's like yellow for me... I am convinced that I can't wear yellow with my coloring, yet when I see it on other brunettes, I love it.

You should get it Crissy! At that price, you could totally get it again in red if they make it in that color too...
