opinion on "natural" color bag

I wish I had a picture but I don't! I bought a bag today - it looks like this http://www.aldoshoes.com/eng/storeS...uctDetails.cfm&itemID=64868028&&var=d&ckey=CA

but it's the "natural" color. Very shiny, patent-like, in a pale beige creamy color. My bf said it's ugly because it looks the same as my skin color. I'm very pale with blond hair, but I think the pale color is nice for spring. Do you think it looks bad if a bag doesn't complement a skin tone?

I'm pale with blond hair also. I suppose it depends what you wear it with because unlesss you are naked or holding it up to your face it'll be contrasted against your clothes anyway. If you are pale, and wearing pale summery clothes it might look a bit washed out. Hope this helps!
