Opinion on Malachite

I don't yet own any VCA pieces, but I've been browsing the website and really love the look of the vintage alhambra bracelet in malachite. For those who own this piece, or any malachite pieces, do you wear them often? I know it's a delicate stone, but how delicate?
I would like a piece that I can wear on most days.
