I love it and I bought it! It’s shiny lambskin, light weight and about medium size purse. It comes with 2 straps which if you join them together, it could be worn crossbody. The shoulder carry and the crossbody strap are both Goldielock length for me. I am 5”3 115lb. One thing to note is that when joining 2 strap together, the buckles would sit right on top of my shoulder though. It would be fine if I wear a coat. I would imagine discomfort if it’s on a thin Tshirt in summer time. Or I will just shoulder carry it in Summer.

Overall I love it. I was over moon! 😍

Hi! How have you been liking the bag? Is the buckle hard to use/scratched easily?

The buckle is quite heavy tbh. It usually slammed onto the bottom part when I close it. I found it easier just to tuck the flap i to the first outer compartment is that makes sense. Also the whole buckle is very heavy and kind of “drape”-pulled the lambskin downward a bit. Not to the point of bothering me but I just noticed that though

Thanks for responding! I’m leaning towards this bag in the monogram canvas, maybe the buckle will hold up better with that material. That’s the only thing I’m hesitant on is the wear and tear of it! Also how easy/difficult it is to get in and out of.

I think monogram would be much better in terms of holding up the buckle. As for opening it’s quite easy to get in and out of. If I need to have fast access I would just temporarily tuck the flap into the front compartment—but that’s just me being creative 😅

I'm actually surprised LV brought back this style of slip-buckle, as it is large and heavy. I have a MC Marilyn with the same buckle from the early 2000's. No matter how careful I am/was with it, it scratches easily and becomes so noticeable. Perhaps they could have made the metal less shiny (like a "brushed" effect) to deter the fine scratches that will appear.

I had the denim mini pleaty many years ago which was similar. It was cute but I guess since I had the style so long ago it gives off a dated feel to me. But I think if you love it, go for it.
