Opinion Marc Jacobs Flap Bag?

Here is the Flap Bag in Slate. (odd color, I can't get a grasp on it. One minute it looks black, the next it's brown, then eggplanty. This color is all over the beautiful place!) I am 5' 7" tall.
It is fully lined in teal leather. The chain is just to be fancy and ornate, because, come on, there is no other reason for it. I kinda like it though, very Chanel-esque. (below with Emma, who is 8)
This is how big it is compared to a Starbucks mug.
It holds a plum MJ wristlet, makeup bag, sugar free mints and business card holder. (maybe a few other things, but this was all I had handy)
It's pretty awesome for a small, night out bag. Even a small, shopping for many hours in the mall bag.

The tag on mine says retail was $895 or $995, I honestly don't remember. The seller listed it for $499 BIN. I thought that was too high. even for leather lining. It's a small bag for me, I don't like my small bags to cost almost as much as larger ones. (We all have bag logic, right?) When he reduced it, I bought it.
Oh, duh, I meant to post that, just forgot. It was $299 BIN plus 25% live discount, so around $224.
