Hello, I am looking at a couple of Cartier Diamond hoop earrings (I think not the Love Diamond hoops, though). The closest Cartier boutique is 2 states away. One option I would love to get an opinion of are the Cartier maillon earrings. I will attach a picture from the website.
Ideally I would like something that I can wear almost on a daily basis, that would be recognizable as Cartier by those who know the brand, but not "scream" Cartier with logos etc. For the maillon, I am not sure if they are too big or to wear almost daily (the earrings are to mark the birth of my first baby, due next month) or if they would be too bulky.
The other option I have found that I like are a vintage pair, which have bigger diamonds (a plus) and are mostly gold with some white gold (a minus - I prefer white gold, but these are petite enough that it is not too noticeable) and smaller than the maillon (a plus). I will attach a link to the pictures on the resale website, since these are not currently available at Cartier.
