Ophidia GG Medium note or LV Neverfull?

Hi all,

I asked this same question in the LV thread and just want to get Gucci lovers' take on it. Any of you have the Medium Ophidia GG tote with coated fabric? Does it hold up as well as the LV Neverfull? Water resistant? Flexibility of style? Any info helps, thanks!!!

Gucci all the way. Supreme canvas is very durable. I really dislike neverfull and I have a lot of both LV and Gucci bags

im thinking of getting this bag for travel. any feedback on it? good strap drop? weight of the bag? i know its a big hole inside but i think that problem can be solved with a purse organizer.

This tote looks very functional and the microfiber lining is much nicer than the fabric lining inside the Neverfull. Best thing about this bag is the fact that it has a zipper. I don’t like that when it rains the stuff inside my Neverfull gets wet.

I think that both bags are equally stylish but if I was to choose again I would choose the Ophidia tote because it’s less common and has a zipper.

Neverfull also is open top bag. That’s a no for me.

I have the Neverfull in DE, but it is quite stiff and a black hole (unless you use an organizer) with no zipper. But, I am liking the look of this tote. It's nice to have the zipper option. And I like the price of this a lot more as well!!

I have this Gucci tote as part of my work bag selection -- it easily handles a 13" laptop, water bottle, other daily essentials and even a change of clothes for post-work exercise. A random felt organizer from Samorga (originally purchased for a different bag) helps to provide some structure to the inside, especially for smaller articles. I wonder why this tote isn't already a more popular option for work and travel:

• It's a lightweight tote with leather handles long enough for comfortable shoulder wear
• Exterior coated canvas is super easy to wipe down (especially after going through airport security conveyor belts and being tucked under airline seats)
• Interior microfibre provides a luxe feel when digging around inside
• Zipper provides security for what's in the bag
• Not as commonly spotted "in the wild" as compared to the LV Neverfull, if this matters to anyone
