I am not quite sure where to ask this however, I am curious on how Hermes decide on locations for their boutiques. I know there must be a demand for their products, however how does one go about opening an H boutique? I am asking for investment purposes obviously there would be a boutique manager so the owner is not present, etc. I have had a quick search on google however unable to find any answers. Does Hermes make the first approach in locations of their choice? Thanks in advance for any light that can be shed on this.

I dont think H does privately owned boutiques anymore. I remember someone mentioning in another thread that H has a few left and they are trying to phase them out by giving them undesirable stock. Dont quote me on this i could've misunderstood.
