Op Art Lurex - Durability of fabric?

I am looking at the Maggie Op Art Lurex in Navy...does anyone have any comments on this fabric's durability? I do not own any bags in this fabric.

I own the Op Art Lurex in the Poppy Gunmetal Book Tote. I purchased the bag last year and the lurex has held up well. I have used it tons of times and it still looks brand spanking new. Its been through the New York Winter with all the snow and sleet we had last year, I have to tell you I am happy with the fabric of the lurex. No complaints yet.

I've had the Op Art lurex Maggie for a year and it has worn like iron. It still looks brand new. It is the gunmetal color, so doesn't soil easily.

I have a poppy op art glam tote (original style)..I find that the fabric on these bags and the lurex fabric is really thick..Coach has done a good job on their Fabric bags for the past couple of years,imo..

Thanks for your comments ladies! I am going to get my first Maggie...in Op Art Lurex, navy...., actually will be the first one I actually keep because I think I have bought and returned about three....

I have this bag and it seems to be more durable than the regular sateen fabric.

I have a Lurex Glam and it's really sturdy! I use mine all the time too. Easy to wash as well!
