Oops - purchased same bag twice

Looking for some commiseration so I don't feel so dumb. I late-night stress purchased a bag only to wake up the next morning and realize I already had it! And I had purchased the first one fairly recently, too - just hadn't used it yet. I think my new rule needs to be to use my bags as soon as I get them so I can remember them! To be fair, though, this is a smaller size that I wouldn't use as my everyday bag. I had been on the hunt for one and I guess I had muscle memory of the search because I was thrilled when I found one... again.

At least I can keep whichever one is in better condition and sell the other, but... ugh. Has anyone else done this?

Any chance you can cancel the order since it's fairly recent? CS might be able to cancel it for you.

Edit: I haven't done this with bags, but when I'm stressed I will get very forgetful. I often repeat tasks or buy things (like cat food) having forgotten that I stocked up the day before. Mistakes like that are normal when life is hectic and we're not present but just going through the motions. Don't feel too bad about it.

I think this is the point when one knows without a shadow of a doubt that one has too many handbags and it's become somewhat of a desctructive obsession.

I haven't done that myself, personally.

It's from a re-sale site, so I wouldn't try to punish the seller for my error. Worst case, I can gift it to my sister.

Someone did this when they purchased from me recently! They said they had too many glasses of wine and didn't think before clicking buy. Luckily they were like you and just accepted the order in stride, but it was a funny conversation!

If only I could blame wine! Nope - just overtired, but also couldn't sleep. Maybe next time I will try some wine to help me sleep - at least that's cheaper!

I've done the same with shoes! Felt so foolish...!
