hi everyone! :)
I’m looking for a new mom bag and I’m attracted by the onthego mm .. do you think it could be a good choice?
is it worth the price?
Now I’m using the neverfull mm but I’d like to change and buy a new one .. which other bags do you suggest?
Thank you !!

The OTG bag is wonderful, but also a way more structured bag than the Neverfull - so there may be some weight to it. I heard that the GM size in particular can be heavy depending on what you fill it with (plus an organizer if you use those). Naturally the MM is lighter.

I am 5'2 and on the petite side so I felt that the GM version was just like a billboard on me, so I opted for the MM size which was perfect. I'd say try on the bag and see if you like the feel of it.

The NF is the best mom bag (and travel bag) for a reason. It's light weight, less expensive so better for spills or a little rough handling, and user friendly. I had the OTG and sold it b/c it's heavy and bulky. The only other bag I'd use for a mom bag is a Longchamp.

I'm 5' 2" as well. I love the On The Go so much that I have two of them - some of the first ones released in GM. I can't really say it's a heavy bag, but I'm used to carrying big bags. It does have the long strap, so that's convenient.

I would not use the OTG as a mom bag because it’s somewhat heavy when filled, very structured, and does not have a lot of give when it comes to mom situations, like carrying a kid and a lot of stuff, squeezing in and out of cars, or stuffing the bag into a stroller. I suppose if your kids are older and you’ve moved past these stages, it might work out better as a bag to carry the extra kid stuff.

I use the All-In and I find it’s the perfect mom bag. Its size and structure is similar to the Neverfull but the straps are wider and therefore more comfortable, and it has a zipper top so when the bag topples over, everything inside does come falling out with it. I’m able to throw a bunch of stuff in there and there’s always room for more.

I also use the older Montsouris GM backpack on outings with the kids. It leaves me completely hands free and I don’t feel like I’m weighed down by a bag on one side of the body.

And lastly, the Speedy Bandouliere 35 is another great option. The bag also fits a lot, and the strap is great to use as a shoulder or cross body bag.

Good luck deciding. Ultimately if you don’t get another bag, you still have the Neverfull, which is a great mom bag already.

I have no opinion on mom baginess of it, I'm just here to say I saw my first OTG in Empriente on the arm of a women shopping at Costco yesterday and was gobsmacked! Flipping beautiful bag. I mean, georg! Noir empriente, GHW, stunning. Swoon!

I wanted to say something, but I was in the checkout line and I didn't want to yell at her. (Well, I actually *did* want to, but I have a teensy bit more self-awareness than to do that).

I will say that the Speedy B 30 or larger is a super option. DE if you want to avoid the vachetta. Not what you were asking about, but since someone else brought it up, I want to second the motion.

Agreed..I would say Im the same size and the GM looked ridiculous on me but the MM was perfect. As for a mom bag I love the option of the short and long handles..

Has anyone used one instead of a neverfull? I don’t carry much as I leave a diaper bag in the car but like the opening to just toss something in. Just over neverfulls
