I have been looking at blue nile and diamond harmony to buy a diamond eternity ring. Diamond Harmony is $500.00 cheaper than Blue Nile. Has anyone purchased diamonds from Diamond Harmony? I have read on this forum a lot of people like Blue Nile.

I have never heard of Diamond Harmony.

I have purchased a few gifts from Blue Nile and I have been very pleased with the quality of the items, presentation and quick shipping.

I've never heard of Diamond Harmony either. However I have purchased several diamonds and diamond pieces from BlueNile and they're beautiful.

If you feel comfortable with Diamond Harmony then go for it, especially if they have a good return policy. Personally I would stick to what you know, no matter what the savings may be with the other company.

Again, never heard of Diamond Harmony. When it comes to diamonds, I believe you get what you pay for. I have purchased from Blue Nile and have always been very happy w/ what I got. In this case, I would stick to the tried and true BL.

I have purchased from a great store called www.billbarnes.com
They will go out of their way to find the perfect stone for you. I bought a few Tacori rings from them in the past years and they are so beautiful as well as the stones.
It is worth checking out. I did check out BlueNile but was not overly impressed. I am sure they are good too.

I've not heard of Diamond Harmony, either. And while I haven't (yet - I plan to in the future) ordered diamonds from Blue Nile, I have ordered other things. I've been very pleased with the quality, service and shipping from Blue Nile. Great value for the money.

I haven't had much experience with Diamond Harmony but I'm very familiar with BlueNile because several of my friends are exclusive dealers with them.

They have a very interesting set up that runs very smoothly. Most diamonds are not even in house or ever seen by them. They have many diamond dealers across the country that they contract with to upload their inventory online. The dealers must guarantee all stones they list to be in stock or they can be kicked out of the Blue Nile program. The dealers are trained in how to package and ship items and given all necessary materials to drop ship the diamonds for Blue Nile to Blue Nile customers.

Their markup is very low which of course in turn irritates mall or inflated retail jewelers, but as a jeweler, I am glad that diamond prices are finally resembling some form of reality. :sunshine:

If you choose to purchase through Whiteflash, Good Old Gold or Brian Gavin, you will not only be in good hands, you will be able to upgrade your diamond in the future. They all have top tier stones and are very knowledgeable. I've worked with both Brian and WF. Highly recommended.

I also highly recommend Blue Nile. I've bought jewelry from them that I've compared (side-by-side) to the same style from Tiffany, and the quality is every bit as good, for around 1/3 the price.
