I am in the NW corner, near Lake Okoboji or Spencer. I am in Ehawk country! :P

Go Hawkeyes! (And Texas Longhorns!)

Good! I went to Iowa and had a college roommate from Spencer. The lake is so fun! At least it used to be when I was little. I am going back next month. I never thought I'd miss Iowa.

I live in london and I love the fact that there is always something to do - it is impossible to get bored! Just two minutes walk from my house I have a huge music festival in a few weeks time so I can just walk out the door, chill listening to Groove Armada and wander back home! It is so amazingly multi-cultural - there is a community from almost every country on earth somewhere in the smoke. This is good news on the eating front - any cuisine you want is here, just minutes from my home again I have some amazing vietnamese and west african places to eat. the architecture and history is so amazing, my beautiful 1930's art deco house was around during the war and i sometimes sit in my house wondering how scary those times must have been and who lived here before me. I also quite like the weather - it doesn't actually rain here quite as much as people think though we are subject to more cloud, but I do love to see the seasons change. Right now it is sunny and 30 degrees - yay! I'm off for a swim!

I live in Granger, Indiana...a suburb of South bend. the onyl good thing about this place is my school (Notre Dame GO IRISH!). Seriously...the school is beyond beautiful!!!
Only other good thing is that Chicago is 90 miles away.

Prior to that I lived in the Central Valley of California. Ugly place but it was only a couple hours from monterey, 2 hours from san Fran, a 2.5 hours from Tahoe. Kinda miss it now!

Home is Winnipeg Canada....not much good to say about it, except family is there!

THE CAROLINA HURRICANES! :graucho:

Okay, I'm kidding (kind of). The thing I like the most about NC is how on one side there are beaches and the other side there are mountains. I'm in Raleigh, so I'm in the middle! I also like the people here as well as the colleges, but most of all the S-H-O-P-P-I-N-G!

Lake Tahoe, here!

Year round outdoor activities...world class skiing...golf...hiking...boating, etc. Really friendly community, great people, no traffic (I used to live in SF and hated the traffic!!). It's a resort area so there are good restaurants, decent concerts. Casinos, too....

Shopping is reeeaaaally lacking, but I sure do know the FedEx and UPS guys well from online shopping binges...and SF or Vegas are both easy to get to - only 1 hour flights away!! :graucho:

Soon to be Palm Beach County, Florida - the beach! The shopping is good, too  Oh, and great restaurants where you can find the best, freshest seafood. Okay, so that's more than one thing :P

Palm Beach County ROCKS!!! Where are you moving?

When I see a plane take off from PBIA I feel sad for those that have to leave this wonderful place, when I came down in February the day I left I was telling the skycaps this is the last time I have to leave.

I was born and raised in NY but in 1985 I moved to Lake Worth, Florida. I love this place for many reasons so its hard to pick just one but I'm going to say smell. Day or night, rain or shine, doesn't matter-to describe it would be hard its a cross between ocean breezes flowers sunshine and plants. Its a pleasure to simply breath here!:flowers:

The great thing about Calgary is that it's a good sized city (about 1 000 000) with a small town attitude. Everyone is really friendly and there isn't a lot of crime.

I've never lived in Calgary but have visited relatives and friends there lots, and I totally agree with you. It seems like a great city to live in.
