I was extremely close to buying this bag not to long ago. Debated on it with myself for a few months. I did try it on in the boutique after only finding a few YouTube videos on it. Loved how well it sit against my body, loved the caramel color, loved the strap length, and loved, loved, loved the leather. However, I had just went through more issues with glazing on my Pouchette Métis and this beautiful one handle Twist has really thick glazing. I also reminded myself that LV leather handbags usually do not fetch great resale prices. I never buy thinking I’m going to sell, but I’ve been buying luxury bags long enough to know that I do fall out of love with a bag every so often. I believe without looking on LV’s website that it doesn’t have “feet”, which also gave me a little pause (it’s not a deal breaker). And lastly was the price. I was also buying more Chanel at the time (not now because they’ve gone mad with their increases) and this price along with the fact of knowing it’s resale could be not good I passed on it. I do think however, it has a lot of good qualities, looks beautiful on, easy in and out, and beautiful eye candy. Just a few things I realized about it once seeing in person and then thinking it through. Did you watch the few YouTube videos on this bag?

I looked at the PM caramel color on in boutique also, my hubby loved it but I felt it was similar to my capucines in style (which has feet) and type of leather. He likes "elegant" styles but I wanted something a little more casual. It will work well as a crossbody as well as shoulder or hand carry. The blue lining in the caramel is stunning and I would still consider it (or if he wanted to go out and buy it for me regardless  ) but I think what held me back the most is that I could not find much discussion regarding whether there is much wear and tear around the "twist" lock, on the hardware and stitching.

I did but there are sooo few! And my boutique is five hours away. I actually purchased the Lockme Shopper Tote and returned because there wasn’t enough structure (the Carmel color was gorgeous though) then I spotted the Twist One Handle. Curious if it’s teeny tiny?! I’m surprised there isn’t more out there on this bag. I like the leather strap and handle. I sold my regular Epi twist MM with the chain. I appreciate your input!
PS: I’ve been lucky with my PM and I’m glad because it’s a favorite of mine. Hope all your issues are cleared up for good.

I didn’t find it tiny at all. The PM size seemed like the perfect size. However, I haven’t been buying larger bags for the past 2 years. I can’t remember if my full size wallet could fit in the one handle or not, but I know I probably tried. I think I must have because when I put my things into it when trying on it did get a lot heavier. I think the leather strap and the handle was what also caught my eye for this bag vs the regular epi Twist. I’m not much on the chains either. Maybe you just have to order and see if you like it and if not send back. Or look at Fashionphile and see if they have any so you can at least see if you like it. It may be easier to buy and return from them???

As for my Pouchette Métis, it’s also my favorite. I got it in 2014. The glaze cracked and they repaired at no cost in 2018 right before they did the recall. Fast forward to 2021 it cracked and a big chunk came off to which I really had to stand my ground that it was a recalled bag and I had the voicemail still from 2018. At first they said they were only going to repair if I paid! I said “NOOOOOO…..” and then had to explain the whole recall thing. Everyone seemed to be new after stores opened back up. It worked out and I got a new one on LV. However, I must say if the glaze wasn’t an issue my original was way better.
