Once upon a time...

Because she was lucky enough to have a european passport, and because she had been an English teacher, she was offered a job teaching in Paris! For the very sad girl, this was a very happy thing.

The girl was even happier when she found an apartment not too far from the Eiffel Tower, and walking distance to work. On the way to work, she would pass a store across from a big hotel. The store had a really weird name, and outrageously expensive stuff in the window.

Occassionally, the girl would see amazingly chic French women, with simple clothes and elegant handbags. The girl didn't know where those ladies got those handbags, but she admired them all over the city.

Eventually (sometimes the girl's not too bright!) she figured out that the place with the funny name was called Hermes. And that although she could never, EVER afford a bag from there, she could get a scarf.

Since the girl lived in a state with no Hermes, and since she loved her scarves (and perfume) so much, she did a little research online. And that is when she stumbled into a very, very, scary place. A bad, dangerous place called the Purse Forum!

First it began as an innocent, occasional look, then more often, then weekly. Eventually, the girl was GLUED to purse forum and learned as much as she could about those gorgeous handbags.

Meanwhile, the girl met Prince Charming...who turned out to be...yep, French! (Happy, happy girl!:happydance:

Eventually, the Prince took the girl to his home town, where they happen to have one of those stores with the funny name. After some careful thought, some checking with the experts on tPF, and some encouragement from the Prince, the girl ended up with this.
