Once and for all... Decision on leather shipping?

Hi guys! I have read through posts about the new policy at H stores. Most of them were from last year... From what I've read, no phone orders (of leather). Purchase in person required. How about purchasing in person, and having the store ship the leather to my home state? I am going to a conference down south (I live in Madison, WI. No H store.) next week and I may stop by an H store down there. Since its a business trip, first off, I won't have any space in my luggage to bring the big orange box/paper bag back. Secondly, I don't think I want to carry the orange box/paper bag in and out of the airport. And thirdly, I could possibly save on sales tax since I may be able to have it shipped.

Hopefully, there have been more experiences with this policy recently and I could gather advice...

Wow we live in the same city! You shouldn't have a problem having the goods shipped back. I heard once they were starting to limit purchases they shipped home to 7,000 but I'm not sure the validity of that statement.

Hi nakedmosher! Go Badgers! Thanks for the info... I'm going for my second Evelyne (B's are most definitely out of my price range)... Now that I'm ready for it, I can't find it anywhere! Hopefully, I can find one down there. I almost lost hope because no one would take phone orders anymore... :nogood:

I hope you can find one you like down there in a color you like! Chicago is also an option for you too if you don't mind making the drive. GL!
