It depends upon the store, and a little on luck. Some stores have Birkins on the shelf from time to time. If a store doesn't have something, it's always worth asking your SA if it's something they can search for and transfer.

Here's a picture I posted in another thread. This was sent by my SA and it can give you an idea of the bags a typical store might have on display.

Accessory-wise you'll likely find lots of fabulous things! There is usually a large display of enamel bracelets plus wallets, agendas, etc. And of course lots of scarves and some shawls.

Just at the moment - and I can only speak for my local store - I can always find some Evelynes, small Paris Bombays, small Lindys, a Bolide in a neutral colour and a couple of Plumes.

^^^ I'd say that was the same as my store for bags that's at Bond Street. Of course there's plenty of wallets, other small leather items, scarves, belts, shawls, enamel bracelets, clic-clacs etc

the hermes here in montreal seems to always have a pretty good selection of bags/accessories. the few times i've been in there, they had birkin's, kelly's, kelly pochette, kelly longue, evelyns, etc. however, i find that prices here in canada are higher than in US/UK (hence i wouldn't buy things here unless i really want them quickly).
