On my side pm or Empreinte Neverfull

Hi everyone, I hope that all is well with you!!! I recently purchased this bag about a week ago now. I do like it a lot, but I can’t help but feel like $3900 I probably should’ve gottenthe Empreinte Neverfull in black instead and a wallet instead. Your opinions are highly appreciated!

I vote for the Neverfull, $3900 is super steep for this bag IMHO. My NF with tax was about $2450; which yields some good change for a wallet or other SLG plus a bandeau or other similar item. But I guess you should also consider what you like and style you tend to gravitate towards.

Hi Aameel, thanks yes it seems like a. I brainer. I do like the Neverfull a lot and I’m thinking of exchanging this bag. I’m just wondering how the empreinte in black will look over time vs this bag.

I've never seen On My Side before and I'm not sure about it, so I'd be going NF. I don't like it when they hotstamp the LV details with Registered Trademark symbol on top on the outside like that. At that price, they should have put a hardware LV logo on it!

This is a beautiful bag. It depends on the style you were going for. The neverfull is a popular style of tote. Even in empreinte, it is still a tote. Nothing wrong with that but it is limited in that the opening is always open and the long thin straps only allow for a shoulder carry. The MM size is also deeper without any slip pockets so accessibility is more limited than your on my side pm. Plus, I feel the on my side is a touch dressier because of the top handles and can be carried in the crook of your arm or hand held. It is a classic style that can last forever. I personally don’t have a need for a full tote in my life ( my younger self would tote around the kitchen sink ) so I voted for the on my side. It is a bag that I would carry - dressed up or down. I am not sure what your needs are. Good luck in your decision making!
