No, its not undesirable since it will happen to almost every LV bag. Its just this bags patina is WAYYYY too dark and looks like its molding.

Depends on the person, and the level of patina. Some people like the patina because it gives the bag character, while some others do not like it because of OCD and the overall look

However, a patina like the ebay posting is uneven and way dark, which is undesirable. An even, lighter patina is more desirable.

mine go in the rain and sometimes on the floor. It just doesnt land on the bathroom floor otherwise it's all good. i love a dark patina.
