Well, now we know what vachetta looks like after being saturated with water and banged around in a metal drum for an hour! (or however long it took to achieve this unique appearance)
I've seen other bags posted here that were washed in washing machines and they came out great. I wouldn't do it, but it can be done as a last resort, I guess.
Omg that's awful. I can't imagine anyone using that.
I think most of the washing machine threads use a garment bag and wrap the bag in towels for protection. This bag belongs in the trash.
I have no azur pieces because I like the look with white trim, but when it gets really patina'd, it's not my taste anymore. But if it were epi black trim, I think that'd look so cool and contrasting!!
But this way... It's just sad looking. Can obviously tell it is damaged. Not intended to look this way 😿
I'm thinking that the bag is a fake which was "washed" to account for some discrepancies in the look and maybe be passed off as salable. This is just my opinion, but I am not an expert or anything. Definitely very suspicious however.
