Hey - that dang purse will look good on all of us!!! I defy the Bag Snob to say something bad about it. It. is not too big and not too small and the glaze on the patent isn't too in your face. The leather is so rich and scrumptious. If you don't put too much inside the weight is more bearable than my regular large Paddy. Realize that Neiman's and Bergdorfs are still showing them at full retail and I know that Bloomies also has them. So right after Xmas they should be marked down 50%. But no guarantee that any will be in stock. 40% works just as well!

Thanks for the info, and glad I changed to the smaller one. Agree, the price will probably go down another 10% after Christmas, but was afraid they would all be gone. I've loved the look of this bag since I first saw it, and you did a fabulous job of modeling the bag in your pics, so here's hoping I'll love it, maybe I'll toast it with another glass of wine....LOL

llson? What colors did they have in the patent dome? Brown, black and blue (sounds like a bruse, LOL).

Definitely had the blue, the large was brown patent with olive leather trim, and I got bordeaux with brown trim--hope it isn't too close to my burgandy/wine Betty--don't think they had black, but I didn't ask. From what Peggy (SA) explained to me, the above were the only colors. I think the black is probably the best combo, but I have too many black bags (too many -ha), so decided to try the bordeaux.

I will toast too! And OMG - BURGUNDY!!! Sounds so divine. I didn't realize there were so many COLORS of these dome satchels.....lots of the gals here have Paddies in assorted colors. And beanie - well - she never hesitates to add a choice tidbit to her mountain of Paddies. What's ONE more purse???

Smart call Ilson. The large would be enormous - probably beautiful but hard to carry around without bashing it into things. I just love my dome patent so much - I can't even put it into words!!! (I hope my DH doesn't read this ever. Those are pretty intense words about a purse. I don't know if I've ever said that line to HIM?!)
