Hey guys! I never really post here, but I have a few questions. My boyfriend really wants an Omega Speedmaster 3510.50 and I was considering buying one for him as a Christmas/anniversary present. He is open to gently used, so I was looking on eBay. Is there any other place to buy gently used watches? Any advice for me? I've bought purses on eBay before, but never watches. Is there anywhere I can authenticate the watch?

Also, anyone have an Omega watch? How much does it cost to get it polished?

Thanks for any help you can give me!

Chrono24 is a great place to look! that and the various watchforum sales areas such as on watchuseek.
Yes Chrono24 is a good place. But if you have no idea about watches in general, then I suggest you should inform yourself as there are so many bad sellers out there that are just waiting for someone with no idea...maybe there are some official Omega Dealers in your area, that also sell preowned watches. Just take a look at the Omega website and search for licensed dealers and just give them a call.
One thing I can say is, to NEVER buy such an expensive watch without original papers. This is the best proof of authenticity. The original box is nice, but not a must - while papers are. I know there are always better deals on watches without papers, but with an Omega I would always buy one with papers. Ebay isn´t directly the place where I would suggest an unexperienced watch buyer like you to buy an Omega watch.
A Speedmaster is a gorgeous watch and he´s very lucky to get one from you! Great choice!!! :)
