Old vs new all gold vintage Alhambra...comparative shots?

I heard that via made some slight changes in the all gold Alhambra... Apparently from an eBay listing, the older ones are a deeper gold and the Alhambra are a bigger or heavier.
Has anyone seen these side by side? Are the differences noticeable?

I would love to see it, too.
I was told that the hammering was a bit different and that the ball in the middle was larger. The gold was a slightly different tone, perhaps. VCA says that they "improved" the design but I can't see how...it is just a bit different. That said, if I had an older version, it would be upsetting to not be able to add to it without seeing a difference.
Since the old version is pretty much sold out, I bought the new version. I do like it....

Thanks so much. I would be upset as well if I a had the old one and had planned on matching it one day. Even if a little off, that would bother me.
