Hi everyone.

I have been looking around all the boards and I have found myself increasingly drawn to leather wrap around bracelets like the Hermes Kelly Double Tour.

I am not big on stacking. I love the look on others but always felt it didn't look right on me somehow. I tend to wear more delicate pieces, but I have been experimenting and I am enjoying it!

It is $605 over here in Australia so it is quite a big chunk of money for an item I am not sure I will love. Plus I have the old white or gold finish dilemma too!!
I wear both equally, but I am not sure how I feel about mixing metals. I certainly am not going to buy one in each finish. Well not yet anyway!!! :roflmfao:

I am interested to hear from others who have pushed their comfort zones and tried something new. Did you love it? Regret it? Hate it?

Also, if any of you own one, would you say you got great wear out of it?

Any other thoughts or comments would be greatly received!!!:smile1:

I agree, it's beautiful. I can imagine my families reaction......."why are you wearing a belt in your wrist????"

Do you think you will go for it?

I will probably. Just not sure when as I am looking to upgrade one of my diamond rings. If that happens I will do it in a couple of months from now.

Oh and another thing. I am thousands of miles from a Hemès Boutique so I will have to do it all online. :nogood:

I never wore bracelets together until I bought my Hermes double tour behapi.
I loved that it wrapped around my wrist and looked like more than one bracelet. I now wear it with my Love bracelet and like mixing things up a bit. It has silver hardware to match my WG Love. Hermes has great leather so you cannot go wrong.

Hi, I don't have a leather wrap bracelet (love that Hermes, by the way), but I have fallen in love with a piece of jewelry that did initially push me out of my comfort zone - the Elsa Peretti bone cuff in ruthenium over copper from Tiffany. It's such a large statement piece, and I felt a bit like Robo-woman the first few times I wore it, but now I'm absolutely in love with it and am on the hunt for more statement pieces to add to my jewelry wardrobe. I love things that can take a basic t-shirt and jeans to the next level, and I think the leather wrap bracelet you posted could do exactly that. Go for it!

Hi ChanelLisette!!

Thank you for your reply. I think your stack sounds fab! My fear is after I get this bracelet, I will then need a LOVE!!! My bank balance isn't ready for that yet. :roflmfao:

alf13, thank you.

I adore the EP bone cuff. It isn't something that would normally be in my comfort zone but I love it on others!! I fear this thread may be an expensive one. As, when I am next in Tiffany I may just have to try it for size. :graucho:

Can you pop into Diva or the like and buy a $10 cheapie, just to get the feel for if you will like the style?

Blossy, I have been trying to find one that fits! They have all been too big. So I resorted to wearing a thin belt wrapped around my wrist, many, many times. (Please do not tell anyone :p)

I liked it. So who knows. :graucho:

I think that bracelet u want is very nice. If u really want to try the look with a cheap bracelet first, how about etsy? U may be able to find something that fits the bill there, before dropping big bucks on the Hermes one.

In terms of pushing jewellery comfort zones - I'd always worn dainty delicate jewellery but I had also admired the RTT heart tag chain bracelet in ss for a while. I have thin wrists so it's rather chunky on me. I eventually caved and bought it. Now I wear it almost everyday. Turned out to be one of my favourite bracelets : )

So u never know....I'd say go for it : )

I can totally relate. No more than a week ago I picked up the same Tiffany bracelet but with the round tag!!! I adore it and have many compliments and glances. It is big and chunky on but looks surprisingly good. Hence why I want to branch out a bit more. The Hermès is just so classy.

I will hear from my diamond guy today and then I will make my mind which one comes first. :graucho:

Your stack is fabulous!!! I think a KDT would look great beside it!!! Please let me know what you decide. And yes, lots of pictures too!!

I had my wedding set upgraded for our 15th wedding anniversary to a Victor Canera halo and eternity band.

The ring I am looking to upgrade is my antique solitaire which I bought as an every day ring to wear with my yellow gold original wedding band.

I look forward to your upgrade too!!:graucho:
