Im saying the LV loop bag is gonna become one of the house’s icons. This bag has everything to join the Alma, Spedee and never full.
it’s only downside is probably the price since the other three are more entry luxury level of the house.

but that loop bag has potential to become an icon.
its stylish, has an everyday feel to it, looks comfortable to use and good space for your essentials.

i see videos on it and to screams like Louis Vuitton icon

I am a big Prada fan and I do love this bag, however, with that being said, I like the Loop a lot better. It looks bigger and more functional than this Prada bag.

I didn’t find the loop bag very functional and returned it. It didn’t fit my things well and when zipped sort of wonky. I love my alma and speedy. I dee many carrying the NF and speedy but not the loop.

i watched some videos about the wonky zipper but all said not really big issue.
now the size being too small that is a true issue.
but still it’s good to know this bag needs to be tried to see if you will really love it. just like the pochette Mettis. That bag is also not for everyone.

I am really not that sure about the icon statement. It is a refresh of an older release, as they do with many old bags these days.
FYI Pochette Metis was first released in 2012, so it is more than 10 years in production. Did it become an icon bag? I do not know... Do you think LV will be making the loop bag for that long or even longer?

Yes to both questions or Thats how I feel.

If we are optimistic, we can say that only time would tell. But I guess most people who were following the brand for the last decades can already see the pattern. Unless a product becomes an instant super success, after a few years of iterations they are tuning down production and then it goes away. This bag most probably won't be even sold by them 6 years from now. And then they'll revisit this form factor in the 40s or 50s again.

The Artsy is a good example. It was introduced in 2009, turned out to be a success (a big one), they immediately pumped up the price, and after quite a few iterations (and price hikes), it is on its way out. Practically only the Monogram version remained available. And it was introduced in an era when Vuitton did not roll-out seasonal collections as fast as H&M. The Loop was a lukewarm success compared to the Artsy, and you are right, it already has mid-range pricing, also not super practical, and it was born in an era when Vuitton is carpet bombing us with new styles almost every week. So this bag won't even come close to the Métis or the Artsy, not to mention the Neverfull and the Speedy.
