I can tell I'm in trouble here... after buying the olive Rogue earlier this week (and lusting over the oxblood while I was there), I made the mistake of surfing around on ebay for Rogues. I found an unused, first generation oxblood with gold suede lining and black trim (with the lock, which I don't care about and will remove anyway). I knew I had to have it. I ended up getting a good deal on it and just sent payment. I really loved the oxblood in the store, but wasn't crazy about the red lining combo, and this one is just to die for with the gold. I'll be sure to post pics when I get it, but here's one from the seller. No more ebay surfing for me.

LOL - I am the opposite I think. One and done. I like the minimalist style of the bag, the multiple carrying options, the hardware, and the organization with the 3 sections. I only like the brass hardware, not a fan of the black brass, so that limits my options. I also am not a fan of the price at all and still question the full retail value. I have other leather & suede lined bags from the old Marc Jacobs Collection, YSL, Gryson & be&d. They all seem to be just more substantial/luxurious in feel of the leather and suede. My old be&d has the smooshiest thickest leather and suede lining of them all and cost less than the rogue (granted this was from years ago). I paid less for my YSL because it was on sale @ Saks (again going way back but I still remember the $500 sale price) and I forget the rest of the prices but you get my drift... I think Coach should include the rogue in the PCE and sale events and then the pricing would be much easier to swallow for me anyway. So for now, I'm happy with my one lil rogue, cutie that she is :) Hope you got a great deal on Ebay!!

I agree on the price - very high for Coach, but I actually think this bag with the details and workmanship are worth it. And I haven't said that about a Coach bag in a LONG time. I've been buying LV and Chloe, and they are way more expensive and I don't think the quality is there with the LV bags.

I love your denim Rogue btw - gorgeous color! It sure would be nice if they included Rogue in the PCEs.

I agree. I haven't been in love with a coach style in ages till the Rogue. Funny you mention LV... my boyfriend was admiring my Rebecca minkoff bag last night because I had mentioned consigning some bags, but not that one. We were talking about prices & he was guessing the price of my LV Turenne & stopped at 1k. I didn't want to disclose the price because he was already amazed anyone would pay that amount for a bag. I told him about this forum... I LOVE all my LV, it's indestructible but I wonder sometimes if we're brainwashed into believing designer is "better". But the resale value is there and LV stands the test of time. Decades pass and a style is still on trend (speedy, Noe) Strip the bag of the LV name & what would it be worth? He pointed out his $10 leather jacket score from a second hand store... full soft leather. It was a find! But if it were "designer" it would have been priced resale in the 100s, LV in the thousands... Worth it? he thinks I'm crazy lol. I did not tell him I just bought a rogue... shhhh ;) Anyway, I love the Rogue!!

Beautiful bag!!! Enjoy! Oh, I love the rouge too! And love the Oxblood. I had fallen out of love with Coach - after years of loving it and then I found the Rogue. I bought the Western Embroidery and then, found a good deal on ebay for the cornflower blue. I have not decided if I will keep the cornflower or not.

Great choice! I have this exact one and get compliments all the time on it. Just so you know, the suede is actually more of an orange color than a gold. That long straps are also orange on the inside and black on the outside. Still a beautiful combination IMO.
Enjoy!

I have a Minkoff bag I can't part with too - I haven't used it in forever either! And it's best to not disclose LV prices. My husband would think I'm insane. I'm actually going to sell an almost new LV bag that I'm not using much because buying 2 Rogues in a week is making me feel guilty! I'm just happy that Coach has something I like now. This new line is so nice.

I love both of the ones you have! If I had to choose one, I'd stick with the Western. So gorgeous!

Good to know - thanks! I hope it won't be too orangey. Can't wait to see it in person!

It's whether I keep both. I want the red one too. And I really, really want the tea rose. It will have to be 50% off for me to get it and I'm still having a hard time with the real python thing though. It feels like buying a fur coat to me.

That red is so beautiful. I'm not a huge fan of the python - I absolutely hate snakes or anything to do with them and I'd worry about it being too delicate. Now, the ostrich is another story. LOL

The quality is all there with Chloe. Leather is soft and just feels perfect. LV was my go-to and up until the ace the coach brand fell off my radar. Now I have 1 ace and a dozen rogues

This Rogue addiction is bad!!! I love this bag. Last time i loved a coach bag so much, I ended with 4 over 2 years - love the orginal Caroline so much.
I really want the Tea Rose Rogue. But, I can't get over the Python. I wish it came with Ostrich handles, which I agree with you, is nicer.
