  2. Vlad and I are fortunate to have a large platform with an amazing community of handbag loving people who join us daily from across the globe. We want to be a part of the fix to end systematic racism, both conscious and unconscious. We are taking steps, both personally and professionally, to be better allies for the Black community. You can read more of my thoughts on PurseBlog and discover a great roundup of Black-owned handbag brands as well.

As our forums are shopping-focused, read about the 15 Percent Pledge and consider signing the petition to call on major retailers to pledge 15% of their shelf space to Black-owned businesses. Please reach out to me directly if there is something you feel I could do differently on our forums to be a better ally and make this forum a welcoming community for all.

If you want to deepen your anti-racism work, here is a comprehensive document with resources on books for kids, podcasts, articles, videos and more.

  1. Oh No. It's raining and miserable here, and following lovely Kriscat pointing out very kindly that the bag I was about to buy on Evilbay was another Fake, I logged onto Mulberry website
    and
    bought
    a
    Gingerbread Hayden Shoulder

I'm not sure if I have a temperature. I was going to wait and see bag IRL, watch reveals on here and look out for it on mywardrobe with discount code, but I missed out on Mabel hobo for hanging back and hesitating.

And hey, this is only my 2nd ever full price brand new Mulberry.

Now have to do small lethal cull of others!

Are any of you others going to do something bad too?:graucho:

  2. I just managed to resist, but I like the same bag so am completely jealous. Going to try and see it IRL this weekend in London. Have just bought 2 Mitzy Messengers though so I needed to learn some restraint!!

  3. OOOOOHHHHH I want one of these too. When it comes can you weigh it please?

  4. I could do with some of that restraint. Maybe Mulberry should sell special ones?!

  5. Of course although will have to do so under cover of darkness until I can pass it off to DH as "Oh, this old thing?...." !

  6. Yay congrats, looking forward to see your review/pics!! I'm interested to know how the opening works - from the website photo, it looks like one of those 'wired self closing' type, iykwim??

I'm going to see it irl later this month - must reduce the weight (mine, not the bags).

  7. :roflmfao::roflmfao:

  8. Exciting! Can't wait to see the pics!

  9. I'm really hoping its one of those so easy to use ones......but hey I'm so smitten with its looks am not sure I'll care!

  10. Ohhh sorry I was thinking about Tote, not Shoulder, about the opening - please forget about my previous post!

  11. Phew ratrat, thought I had missed something obvious!

  12. oh congrats, post pics when it arrives! its a gorgeous bag!

  13. Yey!! I want one of those too, can't wait to see the photos when it arrives. xx

  14. Impulse buys are often the longest lasting, at least for me anyway. Well done! Looking forward to seeing 'real' pics of this one when it arrives!

  15. I went to the website and looked at the bag and it is beautiful. The color looks incredible so I can only imagine what it looks like in person. I am so happy for you
