Official Coach CHAT Thread!!!

No, wait, the retail store has all those creepy dead-looking rabbits. Shame, as I'm a big fan of rabbits generally, having had them as housepets. I'm a horse, though, so I hope there's something cooler for year of the horse other than the carriage pulling the horse.
I don't know who Randy the Rat is, but here he was chilling on some Coach tote

The retail US rabbit items are underwhelming. I believe Saks and Neiman have a full leather bandit for the lunar line while US Coach only has a mixed signature canvas with leather bandit. I'd take the outlet's less creative version for year of the rabbit than retail's version.

Hopefully, Coach will do better for the future lunar year items. Coach had done some leather keyfobs a while ago - not sure how long ago they came out that were pretty neat, not my picture below of example of what the dragon one looked like. But it's priced out of my range to actually get one.

That one is from 2012, that was the most recent Year Of The Dragon. That's my favorite of the Zodiac key fobs. With the next Dragon year barely a year away, the prices will probably go higher.

The tiger and rooster were beautifully detailed too. I don't know which years they are from, maybe 2010 and 2005?

Those are cute too!

I got a kate spade tiger bag charm last year, but it was saffiano leather which is not what I usually like, but the design at least was cute. I'll have to remember to check KSNY to see what they are doing for rabbit year stuff.

Help, has this ever happened to you? This is a rogue Cosch bag.

I bought from ebay but i got it authenticated here after buying it.

thanks

Maybe post in the Coach Clubhouse -- Rehab and Rescue thread. The leather guy that cuts up leather bags says the creeds aren't made of leather. So, if the creed is faux leather, PVC, technically that kind of disintegration does happen in high heat / high humidity environments.

What are the thoughts on the Coach vs. Coach outlet Valentines heart shaped bag. I am considering a purchase when they open up for sale. I know I wouldn't use it much. I have always wanted to find a red lula's legacy which I know I would use multiple times a week, it is way more practical. Does anyone use their heart shaped bag on a regular basis? Is it a good investment?

If we're talking about investment, which to me is getting value or use out of an item, it has to be functional and that means carrying the bare minimum - my phone and ID. I really liked the quilted heart bag, but it didn't hold enough (for me). If I wasn't worried about investment, I'd rather have one with a top handle.

You made a good point about the size of the Coach heart handbag. I think it’s definitely too small for me. I need cell phone, wallet sunglass case, and a variety of small items ALL the time. I’m not good at minimizing. I used my vintage casino bag today and left half what I needed at home, and I struggle with that. 53BA19A4-51C6-47E2-9CA9-959F80E5FC0C.jpeg

I was just comparing these two bags this weekend! I can't decide. The outlet one is $100 less which isn't chump change. But the retail version is more understated and looks sleeker to me. The outlet one has two zipper compartments and the retail only has one. So hard to decide!

I cannot decide either, if I wait too long they will sell out! I think the Coach bag with the brass hardware looks a bit nicer than the Coach Outlet bag, but I agree, $100 nicer? That would buy a wallet. I don’t know if you like the brand, but Kate Spade has a lovely heart shaped bag also, in leather.
