Offered Black Constance 24 with Silver Hardware - Need Help Deciding

Hello All,

I am in Barcelona celebrating my 40th birthday and live in the US. I was able to stop by the Barcelona store on Tuesday and give my wish list for a Constance. My initial request was for gold, but the SA said she hadn’t seen gold in a while and it is very hard to come by - so I removed gold from request and listed red, green and black in that order.

Surprisingly I got a call yesterday stating a black C24 epsom with silver hardware was on reserve for me.

I am excited, but hesitant at the same time. I have 1 Hermes bag, which is rouge casaque B35 and red is my favorite color. I am torn because the offer is the same color combo as my Chanel Medium classic flap.

I know the black is a classic color, but for Constance I was really hoping for gold, red or green, with black being last on the list.

I love the Euro pricing and very appreciative of the offer - should I get or build purchase history in US and wait for a gold or colored C24.

I already purchased a H bag in a color I doubted. I sold it less than a year later after wearing it like 10 times.
My traditional piece of advice: do a heads or tails. You'll instantly know whether the answer is the one you expect

I agree with this advice and often finding myself doing a coin flip in any situation where I am struggling to choose.

Though Muffin_Top makes another excellent point, as soon as you heard the offer it didn’t sing to you.... but we know how things can change when you see the bag.

Ultimately it’s your birthday, you’re on holiday and if you have the means and can buy this as well as wait for a gold or coloured C24 later on - Go for it!
