Offered a 25 birkin barenia faubourg ( one with phw, another with ghw) and a gold Togo with ghw! Which should I pick??

Pick whatever looks best that you will use carefree.

IMO Togo, so long as it doesn’t look dry. Practical.

I don’t think of BF as heritage, only smooth barenia.

ETA: sorry, I only saw GHW. But, I strongly prefer palladium HW to the point where I rehomed a Fauve barenia ghw 32HAC.
(I felt like a Ralph Lauren ad, and that feel8ng would not go away) I would go with whichever one is PHW, as more lux casual, esp. with contrast white stitching

Buy whichever one fits your lifestyle and you like most. Don’t buy BF just because it’s rarer than Togo or heritage. It’s definitely a specific look and will obviously patina and show wear way quicker than togo. If that’s your vibe then go with BF! If you like a more pristine bag that won’t show wear I’d go with the Togo. Ultimately you cannot go wrong with any of their wonderful offers. Good luck deciding!!

Agree. Both are good options it just really comes down to personal preference in the leathers,
how hard you may be on using your bags & what your expectations about how your bag will wear
over time especially if you want this to be a workhorse bag, JMO

I don't have much information about Barenia Faubourg, but as a B25 Togo user, I can say that its maintenance is very easy. I've used it a lot during flights and it neither got dirty nor damaged. Togo gives me confidence as leather does. The B25 is a model where Togo won't stretch, sag, and can maintain its shape.

BF with PHW … lové the smell the texture and the way it develop a patina over time…

I do think of it as a heritage leather with the added scratch and carefree treatment as an extra bonus 🥰 let’s say… a new heritage … even if the faubourg has been made to hide the skin imperfections you would notice more on smooth one (which I love even more myself but for bad reasons lol)

Questions , are you sensitive to the fact it is barenia? Is the smell of it appealing to you? Do you want it to patina? Is the price of any importance? Do you care for the vegetal tanning process? Is on of the colors more to your liking ? …

Hope it helps

Lol! Okay, you need to elaborate on that. Why is GHW on Barenia more Ralph-y than PHW on Barenia?
