Hi everyone,

I'm in Paris many times each year, and in two weeks time I'm heading there again, the 4th of december.:yahoo:

I'm planning on spending about 1500-2000 euros on Hermès. I have decided almost what I wan't, but still would care for some other opinion and options. What is your advice?

I'm a 19 year old guy and I don't have so much Hermès products since they are very expensive where I live and we don't have a local store.

If anyone is going there as well at the same time please tell and maybe we can do some shopping together!

How exciting! I hope you have a fabulous time- and I think you should just go there and see what you fall in love with! What an amazing adventure!!! can't wait to hear all about it upon your return!!

bon voyage and when you hook up with a like-minded SA i hope they'll spend time cruising you through the lovely choices. i have one piece of advice (not exactly the kind you asked for) and here goes: since you have the good fortune of going to Paris often, you could be open to finding/liking something that is beyond your immediate price range. and then just put the money from a few trips together to get what you "really want"
Please don't misunderstand this as me saying there's nothing good for 1500 euros. Oh no, of course not! I just mean, let's say you like different things, but then you see something you absolutely love but it costs more than that. I'm saying you don't need to feel as obliged to leave with something on this December trip, cuz you'll be back. Or you could order something exactly to your taste. Just my 2 cents.
Enjoy your trip :wlae:

I've really been thinking of this option too, because I would really wan't my own HAC once, and stop borrowing my fathers all the time. But I've really made the decision to wait and buy myself that bag when I get my Masters of Business Economics as a treat. Right now I want to spend the amount I've got and don't save. It's so boring to save :crybaby:

And I do need to leave with some Hermès  I think you know what I mean.

Thanks for your opinions and comments!

Good luck on your trip Knapsu!! This is sooo exciting~ Please remember to check out both FSH and George V
HAC would be a wonderful present to yourself when you get your Master's degree, so proud of you!!

I wish you a very wonderful time there. And good for you on your academic achievement (now and future!) Have fun in Paris for all of us!!!

Hey, I am off to Paris too but not till the 9th December. I will pop into FHS to have a look at a few HAC's they have at the moment, but will hopefully not buy one as I cannot afford one at the moment - just to look.

For that budget (lucky you - so young - so much money!) you can certainly get a few belts even an Evelyne bag. Have fun shopping... and tell us what you got whe you get back.

indeed. so lucky.

have fun in Paris, you guys.

damn, I miss the city again. :crybaby:

You might also check out the depot-vente shops that carry secondhand hermes. there's a thread here with a bunch listed. You could get some belts, a wallet perhaps or a watch, some ties? Go and enjoy!!!! HC

Hi again,

Thanks for the positive response here

Just hope that the holiday will be pleasant so I get stuff to write about here. They tend to be though, but on my last vacation all of the stuff I bought at Hermès was a bit defect or out of stock and that but me off to a fling with Goyard. Luckily that's over.

Right now I'm thinking hard about the largest Garden bag, but I've noticed they're quite hard to get hold of in Paris.
