I recently received a pre-owned small nylon Sasha in black. While looking it over, I noticed that the straps, handles etc, don't seem to have that leather feel. For those of you with the nylon, can you tell me whether the trim is real leather, or just a very good leather substitute?

Also, my bag doesn't have the two small studs on either side of the "Botkier" name in the front:

Could there have been slight variations between Sashas that were produced during different years? Or could this, along with the trim, mean that mine is a fake? Is there a way that I can find out?

I don't know. I just got the exact same bag-the small black nylon satchel. Mine has the two small studs, but I believe the trim is leather. It feels like it to me. The ladies at Purse Forum help cinch the deal for me. All of my bags are leather and I wasn't sure about getting a nylon bag. I was concerned that the bag wouldn't last as long. But they say nylon bags last a long time. I got the purse at an AMAZING price on ebay. I buy all my designer bags used. I couldn't afford them otherwise, and I don't like cheap bags because they fall apart too fast.
